There is nothing quite like sitting in the sand with a juevos rancheros and an ice cold beer while watching the reeling left hand point you had been surfing all morning. That is Julia’s! Julia’s Restaurant at the Ranch is an institution.
The restaurant is ran by three generations of women, with the fourth generation playing in the sand around the tables. There has been no electricity so Julia and her girls bring the supplies each and every morning. It is so authentic. and you don’t know who you will run into. Surfers come up from Saladita, Trancones and Zihuatanejo which include locals, expats and foreign visitors.

The Ranch / El Rancho is only 60 minutes from the airport of Zihuatanejo / Ixtapa. The improved road is a dream to drive! You exit the main highway and go through the small village of El Roble. There is a finely maintained dirt road and down the hill to the ranch.
