This is a flat, 500 sq mtr lot in La Yierba. It is just a short walk to a spectacular beach and worldclass surfing. This is a great price for a nice buildable lot and to become a part of the Pavones laid back lifestyle.
Pavones is a beautiful village at the southernmost point of the pacific coast in Costa Rica, literally where the road ends. Even though Pavones is globally famous within the “surfers” world because one of the longest waves on the planet, it has no main infrastructure / services. A soccer pitch is the village centre’s main square and around it there is a well kept of gravel walkway that ends along the beach itself.
International tourism hasn’t yet reached this remote location and that is the draw for many as the jungle comes all the way to the beach with few structures in sight looking up and down the coast. The road that goes from Rio Claro (the main village of Pavones Bay) to Punta Banco is absolutely breathtaking and between May and August the beach that flanks the road all the way through is also the main reproduction area in the world for the Sea Turtle (oliver ridley).
Pavones enjoys beautiful and secluded beaches that lie on the interior of the Golfo Dulce. Pavones provides visitors with beautiful scenery and clear waters. Surfers love Pavones and look for the double overhead southwest swells for ideal surfing conditions. When the waves are hitting, Pavones is one of the best surf spots in the country. Pavones features an epic left hand break that experienced surfers can ride for almost three minutes at a time. With the ride estimated at a distance of more than one kilometer, Pavones is arguably one of the longest lefts in the world. Robby Naish along with sponsor Red Bull rode the wave at Pavones for 2 minutes and 15 seconds and rode it for 1.09 km, as seen in this Red Bull surfing video. The waves feature several sections, allowing surfers plenty of opportunities to carve, pump and practice their favorite tricks.
