This beautiful home is located in one of our most sought after communities, just 400 yards from the beautiful beaches at Bejuco! Playa Bejuco

Bejuco is located about 2 hours from the international airport in San Jose, and just 25 minutes from the exciting town of Jaco to the north, with restaurants, shops, plenty of activities, and just 40 minutes from Quepos and the Manuel Antonio National Park, the number one tourist destination in the country! Don’t want to go that far? Just up the beach road at the highway is the Town Center Shopping Center, with a large grocery store, shops, restaurants, and just 10 minutes towards Quepos is the sleepy farmer’s town of Parrita, with more grocery stores, shops, hardware stores, banks, etc. Everything nearby, plus the beach, in a great area!

Surf at Playa Bejuco

Surfing is often best at Playa Bejuco during lower tides. The shifting sandbars become more exposed at low to mid tides, shaping clean peaks and helping form longer rides. During these times, nearby beaches such as Playa Hermosa can become too shallow or close out. Incoming or outgoing low tides create the most playful waves, with manageable rips and punchy beach breaks. At high tide, the waves can become slower and the rides shorter due to the amount of water.

The waves here can hold shape well, especially when larger south-southwest swells arrive. Peaks form along the wide, sandy beach and allow for both left and right breaks. Onshore winds, typically starting later in the day, can produce choppy and less organized surf. Start your surf session early to take advantage of the favorable morning conditions!
